Plumber Tips & Helpful Hints
- If your disposal is jammed, try pressing the red reset button at the bottom of the disposal. That usually works!
- Flush your water heater annually to reduce sediment from building. This will increase the lifespan of your water heater and you will also see energy savings!
- Clorox is a simple and effective way to keep you a/c condensation drain line clear from clogs.
- Make sure you know where your master shut off valve is located. This could save gallons of water and prevent damage to your home if a pipe were to burst.
Going on vacation....TURN OFF VALVE!!!!!
- Run hot water in your kitchen sink before you start the dishwasher. This practice saves energy and helps you clean your dishes better.
- Fit all of your drains with strainers to catch any debris, such as hair or food, from going down the drain. Clean strainer regularly keeping your pipes clear. This can prevent future clogs from occurring.
- DO NOT rinse fats or cooking oils down our kitchen sink. Liquid fats solidify i your cold pipes ad can create awful clogs!
